Ticketing

Do you offer senior/concession discounts?

Discounts are not offered for different age groups however children aged 12 and under are free. Companion Cards will be accepted.

Can I resell my ticket?

As there is no allocation of seats at Big Skies Concert, tickets can be resold by the ticket holder.

What do I do if I haven’t received my email confirmation or ticket?

Firstly, check that the email hasn’t been sent to your Junk/Spam folder. If you still can’t find your tickets, please contact the Big Skies team.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

As per the Terms and Conditions, refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled. In this case, you will be contacted by the Big Skies Team.

Where can I purchase my tickets from?

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate of the event on the day.

How will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will be emailed to the nominated email address after booking and payment.

Will my ticket gain entry to every event on the festival program?

No, one single ticket will not give you entry to any event. If you’d like to attend more than one event (for example, Jacaranda Avenue Long Lunch, Bus Tour and Big Skies Concerts), you will need to purchase a ticket to each individual event.

The Camp Kitchen area and After Party do not require a ticket.

COVID-19

Is the festival a COVID-safe event?

Yes, Big Skies is a COVID-safe event abiding by the state COVID-19 policies at all venues.  All events during Big Skies will follow important COVID-19 safety measures.

Is COVID-19 vaccination required?

No, due to current Queensland Government regulations, attendees of Big Skies are not required to be vaccinated.

What if I am unable to attend the festival due to COVID-19 isolation?

If you are unable to redeem your ticket due to COVID-19 isolation, your ticket may be considered for a refund however this is not guaranteed.

In this circumstance you will need to contact the Big Skies team after the event.

Big Skies Concerts

What items are prohibited in the concert area?

No glass is permitted in the concert area. This includes wine glasses, jars or any other containers/items made of glass. Objects considered by the event organisers to be dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance are also prohibited. These include (but are not limited to) open fires, naked flames, disposable BBQs, laser pointers, fireworks, flares, flags or banners, whistles, horns, musical instruments, loud hailers, public address systems and other items that could be used to distract, obstruct or interfere with performers.

 

 

Will there be anywhere to watch the NRL grand final on Sunday?

Yes, the grand final will be played on the big screens in the Amphitheatre immediately after the concert and fireworks finale.  

Can I bring a tent or umbrella to the Big Skies Concert?

No – tents, umbrellas, sunshades and anything that will potentially obstruct views of the stage are not permitted into the concert area. However, chairs and picnic blankets are permitted.  

Camping

Do I need to book a campsite?

Yes, campsites need to be booked prior to the event so sites can be allocated. However, if sites are still available bookings can be made online on the day.

How many nights can I camp for?

Camping packages are available from one to four nights. 

Can I reserve a campsite for a friend arriving later?

Spaces can’t be reserved. Sites must be booked in the same transaction to guarantee they are together. 

Sites are also allocated on arrival. If you would like to camp with someone else, please arrive in convoy.

Can I purchase food and alcohol on site for the duration of Big Skies?

Food and alcohol will be available for purchase at various events throughout Big Skies, however, food and drink for personal use at campsites will have to be purchased elsewhere. Please note you are not permitted to take your own alcohol to consume at events outside the camping area. 

How much room will I have to set up camp?

Campsites are a total site area of 10x8m and suitable for most vehicles, including motorhomes and caravans. 

How many campsites can I book?

You can book as many campsites as you require. One ticket is equivalent to one campsite, for one night.

What amenities are provided at the campsite?

Toilets and shower amenities, waste disposal, potable water and limited supply of firewood is available at the campsite. Please note that all campsites are unpowered. Generators can be operated between 8am and 8pm.

Are pets allowed in the camping area?

No animals (except assistance animals) are permitted within the site area, as Jimbour Station is a working property.
